The simplest way to introduce PBA in this case, is to make use of an analogy:
Our brain, as well as our body which depends on our brain, works in many respects, just as a computer. If a computer is not plugged into the right voltage or if its battery is weak, a certain number of programs will simply stop functioning.
Our brain operates the same way: when it is not properly fed, some programs just stop working, and of course, it becomes impossible for us to face the kind of situations that demand our full attention.
The point of this analogy is that the energy that feeds our brain mainly comes from our way of thinking. We have to fully realize that thought is energy and that negative emotional states, such a grief, anger, fear or worry produce turbulences in our energy systems and, eventually, create diseases.
We also acquire energies from other sources, such as our metabolism, hence the importance of trace elements in our functioning, or in our environment, either cosmic or telluric. However, the main part of the energies which influences our brain is produced by thought. Evidence for the fact that thought is energy and that we are energetic phenomena, may be found in a very common situation that we often come across: We find that we feel extremely uncomfortable when speaking to an angry person, even if the anger is kept under control. We instantly, intensely, feel the violence emanating from the person’s mind. If, on the other hand, we are talking with a happy, relaxed person, we feel the joy, for love is, as we all know, a powerful energy. As a result, feeding our brain negative thoughts ends in weakening our “voltage”. And, of course, a weak voltage makes it impossible for us to properly face the difficulties we encounter in our lives. The more our brain is nurtured with negativity, the more disturbed it grows, until it just switches over to different energy systems such as depression and panic.
It may also happen that the particular incident we experience is so traumatizing that “we just blow a fuse”, the consequence being that our energy system will be scarred for a very long time. This mental scar is known as an “imprimatur”. Again, let’s go back to our analogy with electricity: when fuses blow in your house because of an overload, the obvious thing to do is to repair it immediately, or, of course, your household appliances will become useless. Unless you replace your fuses, your home will have to go without the electric kettle or the toaster. This is exactly what happens to our brain. Nevertheless, these faulty functionings are crucial but not fatal, as they can be removed and as our energies can be restored to normal. The method I have devised is to make use of specific circuits, each constituted of five acupuncture points. The number five is a constant number here because the five points, in designing a printed circuit board on our body (just like a chip card), allow the antidote energy to flow freely into the circuits. Only a few minutes are needed for the energy to go back to normal and for the patient to feel better.
“Five points acupuncture” is taught in different parts of the world, notably in Australia and in France, where Dr Patrick Veyret, the inventor of “Energo chromo kinèse” is a pioneer. The originality of my method consists in the fact that I’ve suppressed the needles which I’ve replaced by simple pressure and also in that I’ve carefully selected 21 circuits out of the numerous available circuits as they stroke me as the most efficient. I’ve classified these circuits into extremely precise protocols according to the given objectives.
Acupressure is painless yet as effective as acuneedles and seems to me to be the right answer to the problem of physical discomfort which is obviously a source of parasitic energy.
A chance meeting provided me with the idea of acupressure: My original method made use of acuneedles, yet I soon found that some points were extremely painful and, as already stated, as thought is energy, the pain affects the good functioning of the circuit. Then again, my objective was to work with babies and young children who, clearly, cannot endure the discomfort caused by the needles. One day in Chinatown in Sydney I confided in a seller of acuneedles who presented me with some acupatches traditionally used in Chinese medicine to cure headaches. Enclosed in those patches were tiny metallic balls. I gave the patches a try and, to my surprise, they worked beautifully.
It took me a while to understand how exactly the patches worked. Let me explain this briefly. There are two ways of acting on an acupuncture point: its energy may be stimulated (toned up) or, on the opposite, its overabundant energy may be dispersed. In the case of toning up, the needle has to be worked clockwise, and it, of course, has to be worked counter- clockwise in the other case. Another way of toning up is to make use of heat, and this is what is done in Asia where the acupuncture points are heated by burning wormwood sticks (called “moxa sticks”) or light (optical fibres). The third technique is to use pressure. The patches I had found in Chinatown made use of the pressure technique. This method interested me as the objective was to stimulate, at exactly the same time, the five acupuncture points. The patches perfectly fulfilled that requirement while taking care of the pain. For months, I successfully worked with babies and young children. But I still used the needles when dealing with adult patients, until the day when a young woman told me of her strong aversion to needles. Until then, I used to think that acupatches did the job because of the extreme responsiveness of children who trust their doctor and don’t ask so many questions. However, because of this young woman’s request, I decided to work with the patches, and surprisingly they worked too.
From that time on I’ve successfully used patches only, whether it be for babies, young children or adults. Then, the method was taken further when on a journey, I found myself having to help a very sick woman when I had no acupatches with me. Reminding myself that acupatches work through pressure, I wondered whether I could apply the required pressure myself on the five points. The result was immediate. I applied a circuit against depression, another against panic and did a rebalancing of the energies; the whole thing took me about ten minutes and fifteen minutes later, the person felt much better and completely relaxed, because her imbalances had been corrected.
Thus the P.B.A (psycho bio acupressure) process was born.
This anecdote proved itself to be a fundamental discovery for me: I realized that I had no more need for any specific material in order to perform P.B.A. Furthermore, I told to myself that if I could successfully achieve such a thing, anyone willing to study the circuits could do the same. In other words, if this woman I helped had known about the circuits, she could have applied herself a discreet but effective pressure on the five points of the circuit against depression and then on those of the circuit against panic before positively recharging her energies.
Since then, I teach people within the frame work of my workshops, how they can control all their negative states by applying pressure on specific points. I have selected 21 main circuits to that purpose.
I remember a young lady who had failed her driving test 8 times. She was actually a good driver, yet she lost complete control of her means when facing an examiner. This situation had cost her the job she sought as it demanded driving abilities. I taught her the circuits which deal with panic and expression. She passed her test the next day. In the same way, I’ve helped barristers to control their stress before a pleading as well as students before an important exam.
Of course the aim is not to teach people how to become indifferent to difficult life experiences but rather to give them the means to successfully face the harsh situations they are bound to encounter in their lives. I fully realized that other techniques such as yoga, shiatsu, or sophrology may obtain similar results, yet, to my knowledge, none has demonstrated the same rapidity of action or the same simplicity of implementation as P.B.A. Obviously their already proven efficiency pleads for their use, however, the use of P.B.A is bound to increase their effects, which is much appreciable when urgency is at stake.
Keeping our energies positive improves our resistance to disease and to both mental and physical complaints. Again, the interest of this method is its preventive treatment.
As for myself, applying to the 21 circuits which I teach has become my own personal daily ritual. I can truly say that I have an extraordinary energy despite an extremely busy schedule.
My method is easy to use and yet extremely effective regarding its results.
